Welcome to Langley Tracks, a former Victorian railway station in Langley, Northumberland, previously known as The Garden Station. Once part of the Hexham to Allendale railway, the last train passed through in 1950. Since December 2024, Eleanor has been developing the site as a space for pottery, sauna sessions, live music and events.
The old waiting room is now home to a pottery studio, while the woodland provides a setting for the sauna and outdoor events. Langley Tracks is also available to hire for weddings, workshops, performances, private gatherings and pop-up events.
Whether you’re joining a pottery class, booking a sauna session, coming along to a gig or planning an event of your own, Langley Tracks offers a unique setting in the Northumberland countryside, with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy.
Our Pottery Classes
Our pottery classes offer the chance to learn wheel throwing, develop your skills and spend some time working with clay. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, sessions are tailored to suit a range of abilities.
Led by experienced potter Eleanor, you’ll learn the basics of wheel throwing, from preparing the clay to shaping your own pots.
Classes take place in the old waiting room, now a fully equipped pottery studio at Langley Tracks. We offer group sessions for up to six people, as well as private wheel-throwing sessions.
Deep Relaxation: Woodland Sauna & Invigorating Cold Plunge
Our barrel sauna is set among the trees at Langley Tracks, with a cold plunge pool for those who want to alternate between hot and cold.
The sauna is available to book every week for private sessions, giving you exclusive use of the space for the duration of your booking. Whether you’re coming on your own, as a couple, or with up to three friends or family members, the sauna accommodates groups of one to four people.
It’s an opportunity to take some time out, unwind and enjoy the woodland surroundings at your own pace.
Looking for a pretty, countryside location for your Wedding?
Langley Tracks is a licensed wedding venue for hire, giving couples the freedom and flexibility to create a day that feels truly their own.
We provide the venue with bar service, and the option of delicious wood-fired pizzas. You can then organise the rest of your day just as you’d like, choosing your own suppliers, decorations and entertainment to bring your vision to life.
Set in the Northumberland countryside, our unique venue offers a relaxed, informal setting surrounded by woodland and the character of a former railway station.
