PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR WEBSITE OR BOOKING OUR SERVICES. By accessing the Langley Tracks website (langleytracks.co.uk) or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

• “We”, “Us”, “Our”: Refers to Langley Tracks and those working for Langley Tracks.

• “You”, “Your”: Refers to any user of the Website or individual booking or participating in our Services.

• “Website”: Refers to langleytracks.co.uk

• “Services”: Refers to pottery classes, sauna sessions, event venue hire, and any other activities offered by Langley Tracks.

• “Booking”: Refers to a confirmed reservation for any of our Services made via the Website, email, phone, or other agreed method.

2. Website Use

• 2.1. You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Website.

• 2.2. The content of the Website (including text, graphics, logos, images) is the property of Langley Tracks or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Website without written permission from Us.

• 2.3. We endeavour to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate and up-to-date, however, We cannot guarantee its completeness or accuracy and We are not liable for any inaccuracies or omissions.

3. Bookings and Payments

• 3.1. Bookings for Services can be made via the relevant pages on our Website, or by contacting Us directly where specified.

• 3.2. Full payment or a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place/session/hire, unless otherwise stated. Payments are required in advance of bookings.

• 3.3. Prices for Services are listed on the Website and are subject to change without notice. All prices are in GBP (£).

• 3.4. Upon successful booking and payment, You will receive a confirmation email. Please check this carefully and inform Us immediately of any errors.

• 3.5 Any booking or reservation made by previous tenants or individuals not directly associated with Langley Tracks are not guaranteed or liable to be honoured by Us. We are not responsible for any cancellations, changes, or discrepancies related to such bookings.

4. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

• 4.1.Pottery Classes:

  • If You need to cancel or reschedule Your Booking, please provide Us with at least 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, or failure to attend, will result in the forfeiture of the full payment.

  • Cancellations made with sufficient notice will be granted a full refund or the option to reschedule.

  • In the unlikely event that We need to cancel a session, We will offer You a full refund or the option to reschedule.
    
    

• 4.2. Sauna Sessions:

  • If You need to cancel or reschedule Your Booking, please provide Us with at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to attend, will result in the forfeiture of the full payment.

  • Cancellations made with sufficient notice will be granted a full refund or the option to reschedule.

  • In the unlikely event that We need to cancel a session, We will offer You a full refund or the option to reschedule.
    
    

• 4.3.Event Hire:

  • Cancellation terms for Event Hire are subject to the specific Hire Agreement entered into for your event. Generally, deposits are non-refundable. Please refer to your Hire Agreement for details.

5. Service Specific Terms

• 5.1.Pottery Classes:

  • You agree to follow all safety instructions given by the instructor.

  • Clay and tools should be handled responsibly. Appropriate clothing should be worn.

  • Finished pottery pieces require drying and firing, which takes approximately 4-6 weeks. We will notify You when items are ready for collection. Items not collected within 3 months of notification may be disposed of.

  • While We take great care, due to the nature of ceramics, We cannot guarantee that items will survive the firing process without breakages or imperfections. No refunds or compensation will be offered for items damaged during firing.
    
    

• 5.2.Sauna Sessions:

  • Use of the sauna and cold plunge pool is at Your own risk. You are responsible for determining if You have any health conditions (e.g., cardiovascular issues, pregnancy) that may make sauna use unsuitable. Consult your GP if unsure.

  • You agree to follow all safety and usage guidelines provided. Children under 16 are not permitted in the sauna. Children aged 16-17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • No alcohol or glass containers are permitted inside the sauna facility. Appropriate behaviour is expected.

  • Please bring appropriate swimwear, towels, and footwear as advised on our Website/booking information.

  • Sauna guests are responsible for their conduct and for any damage caused to the facilities or equipment during the hire sessions.
    
    

• 5.3.Event Hire:

  • Hirers are responsible for ensuring the number of guests does not exceed the agreed capacity (max 75 including gardens in summer; max 20 in waiting room).

  • Hirers are responsible for the conduct of their guests and for any damage caused to the venue or property during the hire period.

  • Specific terms regarding catering, alcohol, music, decorations, setup/cleanup times, insurance, and use of facilities will be outlined in a separate Event Hire Agreement.

6. Visitor Conduct and Safety

• 6.1. All visitors must follow safety instructions and act responsibly while on the premises.

• 6.2. Dogs are permitted in designated areas only and must be kept on a lead at all times under the owner’s control. Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour and cleaning up after them. Dogs must be gentle mannered. Langley Tracks reserves the right to ask for a dog to be removed if causing a nuisance.

• 6.3. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

7. Liability

• 7.1. Langley Tracks will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by You or Your property, except where caused by Our negligence. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

• 7.2. You participate in all Services at Your own risk. It is Your responsibility to ensure You are fit and well enough to participate, particularly concerning sauna use.

• 7.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude Our liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Privacy

• 8.1. We are committed to protecting Your privacy. Please see our separate [Link to Your Privacy Policy] which explains how We collect, use, and protect Your personal data in compliance with UK data protection laws (including GDPR).

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

• 9.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and Your continued use of the Website or Services after such changes have been posted will constitute Your agreement to the modified Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

• 10.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
